The Australian 4 Day Enduro held in Harvey, West Australia on the 31st May to 3rd June 2002 was a great Husky success.

Great terrain and the tests were varied and trying. Two days of dry and two days of rain, perfect!

Special test that was as good as you would see. The final motocross was raced on a great “wet” grass track that was enjoyed by all riders.

Husqvarna have won their 14th Australian big 4-stroke title with Paul Whibley riding the Husqvarna TE570 to a great win and dominating the final Motocross.

Mike Shearer put the Christensen’s Motorcycles TE 570 to a similar performance winning the O/35 class and the final Moto. Mike a 17-year Husqvarna campaigner and multi champion in his first race as a veteran still placed second behind Paul Whibley in the Open 4-stroke class.

Tim Shearer, last year Australian O/35 champion finished 3rd on the WR360 Husky.

New comer to Husqvarna this year is young Queenslander AJ Roberts putting in a great performance to finish 3rd in the 125 class on his Toowoomba Bike Bits WR 125.

Matthew Parkinson from Christensen’s Motorcycles finished 2ndoverall on his 360WR.

Shannon Lewry ended 4th in the 500 class on his 360WR after a hard fall in the first day cost him time.

Adam Lees 400TE finished 4th in the 450 4-stroke class and lead the final Moto for a few laps ending 3rd.

The Official Final Results were still not up on the Gas Gas A4DE Website at 8am.
