The Kiwi Team were well and truly beaten by the Australians on Day 1 of the Gas Gas A4DE staged at Harvey, Perth.
The score reads: NZ 15,269.41 - Aust 28.46

Class 2 Paul Whibley 14.03 - Brad Williamson 00.00
Class 3 Steven Bird 15,000.00 - Ben Grabham 00.00
Class 4 Mark Pollard 53.01 - Michael Oliver 00.00
Class 5 Chris Birch 83 .92 - Stuart Bennett 00.00
Class 6 Steven Curtin 102.28 - Craig Douglas 28.46
It would appear that Steven Bird DNFd. A repeat of Steven`s misfortune in his last A4DE on Australian soil. The 2000 A4DE staged in Victoria.
You will note that Paul Whibley [Hus] 14.03 and Sean Clarke [Suz]16.17, were the two Kiwis closest to the pace
But, another result sheet shows Sean was 161.17 in arrears?
