It doesnt matter how good the results, Motorcycle Racing in New Zealand is viewed as a minority sport. There is no oval ball involved. The general media in N.Z. haven\'t realised that Motorcycling is a truely international sport and this will only get worse.
Can\'t blame MNZ, because the international reports (Reuters) provides all of the news services with the info (as does MNZ via Jim Tuckerman) and it is up to the individual editors as to whether they use the information. It\'s the old horse & water syndrome.

How do I know?
I provided all of Simon Crafar\'s results to every Radio, TV and newspaper in the the country in the early 90\'s, after Simons\'s (now) wife, had faxed me the info on the evening (early morning our time) of the races he competed in. This was G.P\'s & WSB. The NZ Herald would run a story on the the winner of the race (provided by Reuters) and often as not ignore the brief report provided on the Aucklander who was in the same race.

Can\'t say much more, can I.
