GWRRA is in NZ.

A chapter of the American based GWRRA [Gold Wing Road Riders Association] has been enthusiastically received by Kiwi Motorcyclists and will provide considerable benefits to Gold Wing and Valkyrie owners.

However all makes and models of bikes are welcomed and the NZ Chapter intends to provide hassle free and more importantly, politics free activities.
Like `Musters` as distinct from `Rallies`. A subtle difference is that a Rally requires a high level of input from individuals whereas a `Muster` is an informal get together of members at a nominated venue where good fellowship etc. can prevail.

Officers of the Chapter will not be able to hold their position for more than 2 years. That measure will effectively eliminate the possibility of individuals embarking upon `Empire Building`.

Riders who had expressed interest have gathered at Nelson and Taupo and many have embraced the concept and have joined already.
Members signed up before the end of the year go into a draw to win a 2003 Gold Wing, valued at around $50,000.00.

Clive Cooper-Smith has advised that Blue Wing Honda intends to put up $1,000.00 to assist with setting up costs.
John Baker [Insurance Brokers] who addressed the Taupo group also expressed his support for the NZ Chapter, so it is set to provide riders with yet another choice of recreational motorcycling activity.
