Another View Of The SV650 4-Hour Win.

I\'d like to add some pertinent information to this article. Sure, the SV650 beat the Navigator of Bill Biber and Dallas Rankine to the chequered flag. No question about the end result.

What is omitted from the article is the fact that Dallas and Bill lost at least seven laps in the pits repairing the damage done when Dallas crashed at Higgins around the two and a half hour mark - at that stage the Navigator was leading the class, and seemed to be slowly pulling ahead of the Josiah/Whyte bike. So if you add the 7 laps to the 171 that they did complete, you can see that had they not crashed the final result may well have been different.

Of course, \"if\" is the biggest word in the English language, but nonetheless, they were leading the class when they crashed.

(Just in case you wonder how I know how many laps they lost in the pits, it\'s because I was in Dallas and Bill\'s pit crew.)
