Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Suzuki Motor Corporation have agreed to share product development and parts procurement and actual production of top bikes in the future.

Kawasaki President Masamoto Tazaki said that nobody can rule out the possiblity of the two bike manufacturers linking financially as well. With Kawasaki trading in the red for the last couple of years, Kawasaki would be happy of a financial link to Suzuki. With the soaring market world wide of Scooter sales, Kawasaki don\'t have a scooter in their entire range. Kawasaki and Suzuki have decided to concentrate their partnership for the development of cruisers and scooters.

The two Japanese companies have suffered from competition from the US, Harley-Davidson and with European bike companies such as Ducati, BMW, and Triumph closing in on the once soaring Japanese firms, the sales have dropped alot for the two companies as the other firms compete more with their prices.
