Rumours so far this year

NO 1.

Lets hope this one comes true - It is possible that Noriyuki Haga who swapped from Superbikes to GP’s for the 2000 season, will be back and will be riding Aprilia for 2002 World Superbike series and if they are true he will be on a RSV with Dunlop tyres. Haga did not have a happy season this year with his Michelin shod GP bike.

To see Haga back in Superbikes and on Dunlops would be a real treat, - fingers crossed for this rumour to be true.

No 2.

Carl Fogerty is due to end his long time relationship with Ducati. The Rumour Mill has it that he is likely to head up the Sauber Team in World Superbikes

Rumour also has it that Nigel Bosworth who headed the Red Bull Ducati team that took John Reynolds to the British Superbike title this year, is leaving Red Bull to be involved in the Sauber team as well.

Ducati and Fogerty are remaining no committal at present.

Whatever happens it looks like an interesting season.
