From Auckland today, Motorcycling New Zealand’s Road Race Commissioner, Trevor Heaphy confirmed the days for the national road race championships and several other major road race events.
They are as follows:
November 24/25 2001, Manfeild , Endurance champs.
December 7/8 2001, Pukekohe, Round One R/R champs. featuring the TTs
December 26 2001, Wanganui, Battle of the Streets Rd1
December 29/30 2001, Taupo, Combined car/bike classes to be advised.
January 2 2002, Gisborne, Battle of the Streets Rd2
January 19/20 2002, Ruapuna, Round Two R/R champs featuring the GPs
January 26/27 2002, Teretonga , Round Three R/R champs.
February 2/3 2002, Manfeild , Combined car/bike/truck classes to be advised.
February 17 2002, Paeroa , Battle of the Streets final Round
February 23/24 2002, Manfeild , Final round of R/R champs.
