Blue Wing Honda freestyle rider Luke Wara, debuting his new CR250, performed brilliantly to secure third place in the freestyle event at the Extreme Air Competition in Hamilton last weekend. The contest was won by Australian-based New Zealander Rhys de Leeuwe, with Australian Dane Kennard finishing second.

The event was attended by 4000 spectators, demonstrating the rapid rise in popularity of extreme sport in New Zealand. Race team manager Dave Borlase said: ’The form shown by Luke Wara on the CR250 is very encouraging for Honda’s profile in this exciting and growing sport’.
