Kawerau’s Tony Rees returns this weekend to Eastern Creek Raceway outside Sydney, for round one of the 2001 Australian Formula Xtreme Series.
Rees will campaign, a Yamaha R1 modified for Formula Xtreme specs, and sponsored by BIKE BIZ, one of Sydney’s leading motorcycle dealerships and the sponsor Rees rode for in Australia last season.
Rees is looking forward to again lining up against Australia’s best.
\"It’ll be great to be out there against the Aussie again,\" said Rees.
As well as racing in Australia, Rees has entered into discussion with a team for the World Endurance Championship, but nothing has been finalized.
