Castrol Honda\'s replacement for Aaron Slight, Tadayuki Okada is not happy with his Honda SP-1 handling. After his first test he said, \"The SP-1 is very different to the NSR. The power delivery means it is easier to open the throttle earlier. \"The SP-1 is 30kg (66lb) heavier, but the NSR actually feels heavier to steer into faster corners so the extra weight is no problem for me.\"

But he critical of the handling when he said \"I\'ve raced with Honda since 1987, but I\'ve never found good handling in my opinion. The SP-1 is competitive, but I think we still have to work on the traction and handling.\" He said: also \"I want to try and win the championship, then I want to ride a four-stroke GP bike in 2002 or 2003. They have just finished building the bike. I think this year I can test it.\"

His main objective though is to win the WSBK championship in his first attempt. However he must first get back to full fitness as he was forced to miss Tuesdays sessions due to lack of fitness, from the head injuries he suffered in a crash last year when testing.
