Oamaru Rider represents New Zealand

The weekend of 25/26 November will see Oamaru’s Brad Selfe head north to Manfeild, to join his fellow New Zealand team members to contest the 2000 Oceania Road Race Championship.

The Championship is contested between teams from Australia and New Zealand.

The 26 year old Castrol Honda rider, who recently finished 3rd in the 600cc class and 4th overall in the “Quality Hotel” 4 Hour race at Manfeild, partnered by Auckland’s Glen Jeffrey on a Honda CBR600, is one of the class’ form riders.

Last years’ 1999/2000 season was Selfe’s most successful. He won the New Zealand 600 Sports Production Grand Prix at Ruapuna and finished a close 2nd in the 600cc Sports Production Road Race Championship, along with a 3rd in the Formula Two Road Race Championship, all on the Honda CBR600.
