Cannon Racing’s Aaron Gobert set pole position on Saturday with a qualifying time of 2:10.276 while Jamie Stauffer qualified 2nd, placing the Cannon Racing Aprilias in the 1 and 2 positions on the starting grid.

Stauffer proved his capabilities on the Aprilia, breaking away from the pack in lap 3 and continuing to increase his lead through the checkered flag, where he took the Aprilia Cup win by a 7.231 second margin of victory!

While Gobert was quickest in every Aprilia Cup session, come the race he was unfortunately slowed by having to ride his spare bike after his A bike seized in morning warm-up. He finished a respectable 5th.
