The South Island Veterans (35yrs and over riders) performance kept the points chase close. The South lead by 4 points going into the last race, however it was to be the North’s day, winning by just 18 points.
NORTH 650 points vs SOUTH 632 points
The event was staged once again by the Marlborough Motorcycle Club in Blenheim. The weather was good and track conditions excellent.
This year the Challenge was run over four classes:
