High Country Farmland Trailride with unreal views of the Kawhia Harbour.
This year there will be a 40km loop that will be open all day and a separate 10km Novice loop. The kids track will be located right next to the woolshed and will be supervised.
The riding at Oparau is mainly on farm tracks that join the four farms together.
On the main loop there are river crossings, some steep uphill and down hill tracks and also some native bush right out the back of the main loop.

The local community gets right behind the Trailride as it is a major fundraiser for the local Hauturu School. There will be a meal after the event that is included in the entry fee.
So for a great days trailriding give the Oparau ride a go, it won’t disappoint you.
