From Auckland Allow about an hour. The turn off to the forest is on the right 2 km past the Maramarua Golf Club on State Highway 2. The signs and arrows will start here. (turn right into Kopuku Road, then follow the arrows and signs till you left on to Schumacker Road. Yep it is confusing. Several crew members have been lost getting here. There are lots of roads that look right so watch the arrows.
The Maramarua Enduro X course had been redesigned and will have many improvements added before this event. The tyre pile will move to another location with the firewood pile separate from the tyre pile. We will be adding a set of stutters/whoops and some new obstacles we are currently sourcing.
This will make the course rideable yet challenging. We will not be putting in obstacles so difficult that average riders cannot get round but it won’t be for real novices either.

Get yourself prepared for this full size Enduro X Course which will be at least twice the length of all other courses previously run in New Zealand. Ride the GNCC Saturday and the Enduro X Sunday.
