| Motorcycling Canterbury\'s aim is to promote motorcycling in the Canterbury Region. The primary focus of the club\'s activites
are in promoting, and organising road race meetings at Ruapuna Park Raceway. Motorcycling Canterbury hosts the New
Zealand Motorcycle Grand Prix each season. During each season (July through to June) Motorcycling Canterbury holds a number of \"Have-A-Go\" days. A \"Have-A-Go\"day allows any rider with a clean, tidy, safe, street legal motorcycle to test their skill level on the track in a safe controlled enviroment. It is a great way to try road racing. Riders who began their Road Racing at one of these days have gone on to win New Zealand Grand Prix Titles and to compete internationally. See our calendar for the dates of the \"Have-A-Go\" day or contact the President or Secretary (see below) for details of what a \"Have-A-Go\" day rider requires.
